Our client owned several small shops in Stockport’s Underbank area, each with multiple floors of underused space. By reimagining the spaces between these buildings, we established a new access route to the apartments. This innovative approach preserved the original architectural features, such as roof trusses, resulting in spacious and well-proportioned living areas free from intrusive circulation routes.
The client now boasts a mix of one- and two-bedroom apartments that are fully rented, successfully revitalizing this part of Stockport and transforming it into a vibrant residential area.
